Yield: 6-8 sliders
  1. 6-8 slider buns (gluten free, if desired), toasted*
  2. For the portobellos:
  3. 4 large portobello mushrooms cleaned and gills removed
  4. 1/4 cup grapeseed oil
  5. 3 tablespoons adobo sauce from canned chipotle peppers
  6. 1 tablespoon honey (vegan, if desired), maple syrup or brown rice syrup
  7. 1 garlic clove, pressed
  8. 1/2 tablespoon Bragg liquid aminos
  9. dash of chili powder
  10. salt & pepper to taste
  11. For the slaw:
  12. 8 ounces coleslaw mix
  13. 1-2 green onions, thinly sliced
  14. scant 1/3 cup Just Mayo
  15. 1 tablespoon grainy mustard**
  16. 1 - 1 1/2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
  17. salt & pepper to taste
*You'll love the extra crunch a toasted bun adds to these sliders. When the mushrooms are about done grilling toss the sliced buns onto to the grill slice side down and toast them to perfection. **Our grainy mustard of choice for this recipe is a locally made sweet and spicy mustard. And if you really love a mustardy flavor feel free to add a little extra into your coleslaw.
